Persephone tired of the EarthlyPlane. She craved her husband’s Presence again. But Death was no where to be found. She looked into the sky, and stared at the sun and it’s brother the moon. “Speed Up,” she whispered. Time sat still at her feet for a moment, and then a Shadow slithered across the ground toward her. She looked down at the Shadow Shaped as Bones and nodded. It crawled into a hole into the earth, down, back to Hell and Death. Fall would be coming early this year. And a summer’s crop of souls for her to bring Him.
When-In Honor /
When Aeons are lost
To sands of Time
Those you’ve Mentioned
Rot in Brine
But Every Carcass
Doth Persist
No Matter the Size -
Life Will Insist
Remnants that Reckon
And Honor the Past
Remnants of Love
That Time Does Not Last
With Every DownFall
With every Purge of the Mind
You Enter Purgatory
I Am Unkind
Darkest Day (Copy) /
When you face your Darkest Day,
When you don't know what to do,
Sit in silence in your mind,
And be true to you.
For no matter what they say,
No matter who they are,
They cannot reach inside your mind,
Nor determine who you are.
So on your Darkest Day,
Be thankful for your strength,
And remember whatever happens,
You could go another length.
For with fortitude of mind,
With courage of the heart,
With peace inside your soul,
You will be whom you art.
Saints from Sinners /
He came for the sinners.
But I will make them into saints.
The refinement of a diamond,
Is by pressure extolled,
And I will persist through patience,
As vengeance exacts its toll.
For I am naught but Balance,
And the Movement of its Scales;
I am naught but Knowledge,
Imparted through my Tales.
I have naught but words,
I am naught but you -
A highly reflective surface,
That sees straight through you.
You cannot hide from Karma,
You cannot hide from me,
For I am the True Dharma,
You will one day See.
Do What No One Dares /
When everyone is gone,
When all hope is lost,
When chaos is all you see,
I will find my way to thee.
I do not depart,
No matter where you dart,
Bending both time and space,
To merely see your face.
And though it’s from a distance,
Though you no longer care,
I subsist in my persistence,
And do what no one dares.
The Blackened Void /
Falling into the Phantasmic,
Past the Blackened Void,
I look to the Future,
One Most would Avoid,
But I see then a Glimmer,
Like a Far-oft star,
And as I watch it shimmer,
I think on where you are.
But it doesn’t really matter,
Whether you’re there or here,
For often I speak with Fates and Gods,
And they know I hold you dear.
So no matter our where or when,
No matter what we do,
As I linger in the Blackened Void,
I promise to be true.
One Day /
One day I’ll escape this memory,
One day my soul will soar,
One day I’ll be who I am,
And let loose a mighty roar.
One day I won’t be here,
One day I’ll have my home,
But until that day has come,
I will continue with my tome.
For no one has done what I have,
No one can write these words,
No one can see what I see,
Through broken glass of a million sherds.
The Dawning of Dark Light /
Though you may come for me,
I came not for you.
I come only for those
Unafraid to follow through.
In the dawning of dark light,
I will remember those
Timid, tired, weak,
Minds set on what they know.
But they know not me,
Nor the darkness of my soul,
And soon this empty vessel
Will exact its toll.
For a convergence is upon you,
A dawning yet unseen,
And I hold inside my mind,
All that has never been.
Destroy my words, destroy my thoughts,
But you cannot destroy me.
The mind of God is soon upon you,
And soon you all shall see.
When the dawning begins,
A darkness shall cover the land,
And I know who it is
That sits at God’s right hand.
Darkest Day /
When you face your Darkest Day,
When you don't know what to do,
Sit in silence in your mind,
And be true to you.
For no matter what they say,
No matter who they are,
They cannot reach inside your mind,
Nor determine who you are.
So on your Darkest Day,
Be thankful for your strength,
And remember whatever happens,
You could go another length.
For with fortitude of mind,
With courage of the heart,
With peace inside your soul,
You will be whom you art.
The Blood and The Smoke /
The Blood and the Smoke,
And the Dark Acrid Air…
All I Could Smell Was the Blood,
And the Dust of Despair.
Wherever I Turned,
Was Death and Destruction,
But You Protected Me,
With a Brand New Construction.
So When I Return,
I Will Rise Toward the Sky,
And the Souls Will Ring Out,
As the Earth Heaves a Sigh:
“We Have Returned,
We are Here Once Again,
And Now it’s your Turn…”
She Said Unto Them.
I See The Patterns /
I Hold the Souls
That You Have Cast Out.
I Will Refine Them
Until No One Doubts.
I Have Come
And I Continue By Choice.
I Listen to Them
And to the Dead I Give Voice.
When You Have No One
At All By Your Side,
I Will Be There,
And I Do So With Pride.
For What is Life
But Lessons in Time?
What is the Point,
With no Reason or Rhyme?
I See the Patterns
That they don’t Discern,
And I’ll Reach Into Hell,
To Save Those That Burn.
Your Wounds /
Do your wounds,
Lessen with Time?
Do you stop and think,
And press rewind?
Do you replay your life,
Daily in thought?
Do you really think,
That you Know all you ought?
What do you do,
When the wounds won’t heal?
To whom do you turn,
When Life gets Surreal?
Do you surrender your mind,
To the pain of the past?
Or do you rise up and try,
Every day ‘til the Last?
And when that day comes,
Will you face it with honor?
Or will you cry and heave sighs,
Like you’re a goner?
Do you turn to the thunder?
Do you stare down the rain?
Can your wounds overcome,
The cause of your pain?
A Dwelling in the Darkness /
A Dwelling in the Darkness,
A Life Outside of Time,
A Place Where I‘m the Only One,
And No One’s on My Mind.
A Place Outside of Want,
A Place Outside of Need,
A Place Outside of You,
Where my Soul can Feed.
A Place to Just Be Me,
A Place Where I Escape,
A Dwelling in the Darkness,
And Time Without a Shape.
The End of the Old /
A new beginning,
The end of the old,
But where I will go,
Is still untold.
The lessons I’ll learn,
Along the way,
Will lead me somewhere
I’d like to stay.
Along the path,
There are people to meet,
But most will give up,
Swiftly in defeat.
But I’ll carry on,
I’ll persevere again,
So when I find my beginning,
It won’t be an end.
Karmic Hell /
Death on the Horizon,
As stars fall from the sky,
Death on the Horizon,
And no one wonders why.
But I will hold the souls
All of you forget,
And I swear to them one day,
They will fly like a jet.
They will linger on,
Through their silence and the pain,
As Karmic Hells Rains down,
Burning like Acid Rain.
A Warp of the Mind /
A moment in motion,
A warp of the mind,
A step out of place,
My boundary a line;
I will do unto others,
As they have to me;
Vengeance is key,
Karmically.
But we are kind,
In this brave new world;
We are of one mind,
And rarely surled.
But if you step,
Over my line,
You will immediately know,
What it is to be sine.
For I freeze out,
Those who would preach,
And set time and will,
Out of their reach.
I condemn those who prey,
Upon the kind and the meek,
And only I know,
That you are truly weak.
So if you’ve not the will,
To strengthen your soul,
I blacken your mind,
Darker than coal.
I will condemn your actions,
And all that you are,
For divided factions,
Won’t travel far.
So get in line,
Before it’s too late,
Or a warp of the mind,
Will be your fate.
Run Toward Where You Aim /
When no matter what you do,
No matter what you say,
The world throws a curveball,
Each and every day,
Try to persist,
Attempt to linger on,
And perhaps maybe one day,
It will know that you are strong.
But until that day comes,
No matter what they think,
Believing in yourself,
Will bring you to the brink
Of inspiration renewed,
And perspirational gains,
So dodge those curveballs,
And run toward where you aim.
A Raven /
One day I spied a raven,
Soaring over sea,
Then saw it glancing down,
Looking straight at me.
“What a blackened beauty!”
I exclaimed to myself,
"What a sight to behold!”
As it soared above the delph.
The raven heard & dipped its wings,
Glittering in the sun,
Singing a tune long forgotten,
Of doing what I mun’.
So off from there I went,
Ne’er once glancing back,
As I hummed to the raven
Of the darkest black.
Thermodynamics /
This is not the end,
But a cycle that renews.
So take hold of your Self,
And pay your Soul’s dues.
As we spin through Samsara,
I measure Karma,
So please live with Karama,
As you fulfill your Dharma.
For that is the path,
It is your Way ahead,
And I have naught but Patience,
As I collect my Dead.
Each and every debt,
Will be repaid to me,
Each and every life -
I exact my fee.
Then I pick a new wheel,
A new cycle to turn,
Leaving rotten souls behind,
To feel thermodynamics as they burn.
I Linger On /
I have lost before,
I have lost again;
I remember each how,
I remember each when.
But I’ve also come to terms,
With who I am,
And now with each how,
I become better than.
So I continue my march,
Though the journey’s long,
Lifting my head to the skies,
As I sing a dirge song.
For each and every how,
Was a little death,
As you cleaved my soul,
Until you thought me bereft.
But I linger on,
In the darkness of the night,
Looking to sun, moon, and stars,
And the clouds’ ghostly light.
