Refuse

When what was once my refuge

Would not comfort me,

I condemned my soul

To exist in misery.

I thought I knew it all

I thought I would not fall

But after my Ascension

I cannot scream at all.

I sat with Gods,

Inside my mind,

And thought of Comfort,

Once Divine,

But alas again,

The Divide now grows,

& Life & Longing

Now decompose.
