I met you on my journey,
Ages and aeons ago,
But when I see you know,
I know not where to go.
I commiserate with Silence,
As love exacts its toll,
But I will keep the Promise,
I made once, long ago.
I met you on my journey,
Ages and aeons ago,
But when I see you know,
I know not where to go.
I commiserate with Silence,
As love exacts its toll,
But I will keep the Promise,
I made once, long ago.
I’ve seen it all before,
And it begins again:
The blood, violence, and lust,
Of very powerful men.
They seek it as they did;
The cycle is renewed;
Look to the past,
For the future you.
Learn to be braver,
Than you thought you could;
Even if you cannot save her,
You will see that you are good.
And when our fates are set,
No matter where they go,
I wish you the best;
This is all you need to know.
To be pushed, then pulled,
Then thrown away. . .
I thought I knew you,
But I didn’t that day.
It hurt my heart
To think I was free,
Only to be chained
With bonds of Misery.
But I will rise stronger
Than I thought I could.
I will unchain my heart,
And burn it by the wood.
For without my heart,
I know I will be free;
Free to be myself
And know not Misery.
Tranquil Reflections
On all I see and do,
Tranquil Deflections
As the winds blow through.
I think I smell a tempest,
I can hear it in the breeze,
And it is time to reflect
On my soul’s dis-ease.
Once I found a friend,
A friend within myself,
But upon further thinking,
I put it on the shelf.
And now I sit alone,
Contemplating whom to be,
As I sit and reflect,
Breathing tranquilly.
And though life may be hard,
I gift mine now to you,
Willing at the last
To do what I must do.
I will balance Karma,
And right where I went wrong,
And sing in darkened hour
Of my own dirge song.
I know I’ve died before,
Not very long ago;
I know I’ll die again,
It was always to be so.
But. my dear, don’t fret,
One day we’ll meet again,
Two halves joined as one:
The moon and rays of sun.
And when I have no one,
I will turn to you:
A family divined from gods
I channel unto you.
And I will resurrect
By the evening dew
The souls you once knew well -
I give their lives to you.
We will travel in the dark,
Under cover of the night,
And though we wring our hands,
We do not feel fright.
A family like this,
There has never been before:
A long forgotten prophecy,
From the days of yore.
One Day You Will Fly
And Finally See,
The Dreams of Our Past
Are Yet To Be.
For What Is Gravity
But Rifts Of Time,
And What Is Stardust
But a Warp of the Mind?
Do Not Worry, Dear Heart,
I Am Not Far Behind,
And One Day You Will Smile
At a Soul Undefined.
I See Your Eyes,
Mesmerized,
When The Plan
Falls Through,
But Worry and Fret Not,
My Friend,
Soon I Will See You.
You’ll Look Back,
Then Think Twice,
On What I Did to You,
And You Will Smile,
Cheeks Brimmed Wide,
Because I Follow Through.
And When Dark Light
Has Second Sight,
You Will Know
Whom I’ve Become:
A Tempest Storm
To Pull You In
And Undue The Wrongs
They’ve Done.
And on That Night,
Bathed in Dark Light,
We Will Be as One,
Spirits Intertwined at Last,
Blessing What We’ve Become.
Rambling & Musing,
Whilst Loosing My Mind,
And What I Become
Is the Fabric of Time.
Burdened Too Late,
But Not Far Behind,
I Will Be Sure
That Mine Will Be Fine.
Burdened Free,
From Me You Will Be,
For I Seek Now
My Destiny.
Rising From Ash
And Those Left Behind
One Day I Will Soar
Undefined By Your Mind.
One Step Closer to The Crone,
One Step Farther From You;
One Step Upon the Stair,
My Burden Almost Through.
For What I Thought Was Love,
Is Only Disarray,
And What I Thought Was Safety,
Is Only Dismay.
One Day You Will See,
By Then Too Late,
With Salt Crusted Eyes
That I Am All You Hate.
For What is The Crone
But a Reflection of You?
A Mirrored Refraction
Of All That You Do?
But I Turn And Walk Away,
As I Always Do,
Head Held High,
Because Death Follows Through.
Skeletally Subliminal,
Causality Liminal;
Is Your Sight Set on You?
Would You Really Follow Through?
All the Hopes and Wishing You Do?
Would You Work to Make It True?
Would you Grind Flesh to Bone?
Or Only Impart What Others Intone?
Would You Merely Sit and Groan?
Would You Tune Your Own Tone?
If the Liminal Could Be True,
Do You Know What You Would Do?
Would You Mark the Threshold True?
Is Your Sight Set on You?
Are You the One
Who Will Follow Through?
A Climb through Shadow,
A Doorway to Fate,
Where is the Past,
If the Future is Late?
What Would You Do,
To Earn Back Time?
Would You Clip Your Wings
And Crawl in the Grime?
If I Could Gift You
Control of Fate,
Would You Take Her Thread,
And Walk Through Hades?
Would You Hold My Hand,
In a Distant Land,
Or Would You Turn Your Back,
Because of What I Lack?
Either Way,
I Will Trust in You,
And Still I Bless
Everything You Do.
For What is Love
Without Trust?
And Without Trust,
There’d Be No Us.
If My Words Are My Only Gift to You,
Just Know That Love Follows Through.
A Dearth of Duality
Has Led Us to This Time -
A New Gate is Needed
To Bridge with the Divine,
For What was Never Heeded
Was Duality of Mind:
To Cleave Oneself in Two
Is the Greatest Kind.
And When You Bond to Yourself,
The Good and Bad Within,
You Rise, Transcendent,
Above A Body Full of Sin.
And When You Pass Your Test,
And Teach These Lessons Well,
New Knowledge and Insight
Will Be Yours to Tell.
Have You Peered into Your Blackness?
Have You Seen the Well Inside?
Have You Faced the Life You Chose?
Will You be Happy When You’ve Died?
If You Could Live Your Life Again
What Ending Would You Choose?
Would You Do It All the Same?
Knowing You’d Still Lose?
Do You Believe in Second Chances?
Or That Fate has Cast Your Lot?
Would You Wipe the Past Away,
The Way You Scrub Away a Spot?
Would You Choose for Yourself
Or Listen to Souls More Wise?
Would You Step in to New Life
With Widely-Opened Eyes?
Or Would You Choose to Come Again
Beholden to Your Lies?
Would You Pick the Path You’ve Led
The One Now Set in Mise?
I’ll Tell a Tale
And Weave it Well
Intending to Deceive,
But I Impart
A Loaded Dart
With Poison
At My Leave.
And if You Thought
You Knew Me Well
There’s Always
More to Learn:
A Golden Heart
Enclosed in Dark
For Which One Day
You’ll Yearn.
But Fool Me Once
And I Will Rise,
With My Eyes on You,
With Loaded Darts,
My Deadly Art,
And I Always
Follow Through.
She peered up toward the sky.
A Blackened Void began appearing in the distance.
A pin-prick at first, it swelled and widened, undulating into space itself.
It grew - spinning and rotating
A darkened red rim formed at its outermost edges - a barrier to quell the blackness.
The center swelled outwards and then back into itself, and then outwards again - a repetitious viscous swell of vinyl ink absorbing all the light around it.
It grew larger and larger, higher than a ten story building, blotting out the trees and skyline behind it.
It happened quietly and quickly, and no one seemed to notice, or care, except her.
Two young girls stepped out of the void, much younger than she.
She raised a bemused eyebrow as they walked down the concrete path in the park toward her.
She knew why they were, and what they meant to do.
The smaller one came up to her and reached toward something in her pocket.
The girl’s trembling wrist was marked with a faded tattoo: a remnant of the past that disclosed her poor judgement.
The woman smiled at the girls, unfalteringly. At least they did this face to face. I’ll give them that much.
Indignation, Consternation
Are what See me through,
And when you take My Darkness
I’ll take the Light from you.
I’ll do what I do best -
I’ll sneak and play pretend,
And when your soul is broke,
I’ll laugh while you try to mend.
For what is a true woman,
But One who bears the Cost
Of Protecting Listless Lambs
Through pain, fury, and exhaust?
And what you’ve done to Me
Will now be Condemned to you -
A Life of Hellfire Spent,
As Darkness Follows Through.
Then Indignation, Consternation,
I will gift to you,
And you will See My Fury,
And be Frightened by Follow-Through.
And then One Day You’ll See,
With Misshapen Misery,
That the Misery of the Past,
Possibly Couldn’t Last.
You’ll See a Brighter Day,
Prismatic in its Array,
And Glooming in the Gloam,
Under the Ocean’s Foam,
You’ll Begin to Wonder ‘Why?’
That All They did was Lie.
But Earth’s Beauty We Will Roam,
Sharing Our Ancient Tome.
When Starships Start to Rise
Under September Skies,
I’ll Rise Above their Lies,
To Dole out a Surprise,
And When you raise your Eyes,
Heaving out your Sighs,
You will Smile at What We’ve Done,
Because We Also Deserve Fun.
A New Time to Penetrate,
All Who would Denigrate,
And when they see Us As We Are,
They will behold a True North Star,
And as Polaris Starts to Bend,
We Come Forth to Mend
The Querulous and the wrong,
Because We Make Ourselves Strong.
A rift of
Temporal time
Begins to sine,
But was I ever
Without time,
As demons climbed
Inside my mind?
Am I ever
Without time?
A limitless
Temporal sine,
Blacking out
From in
My mind?
But with a
Subconscious
Once divine,
I will do right,
Myself,
This time,
And bend my will
To the signs,
And gain control
Of temporal time,
As I master
Inside my mind,
With a conscience
Now divine,
As I swim
Through waves
Sublime,
Mastering myself
This time,
And blossoming,
I’ll be fine,
With a dearth
Of love this time,
Con Science
For all time.
I have promises to keep,
And Aeons to go before I sleep.
Whilst I long for comfort,
I am no sheep,
And I travel the Hard road,
For it is Mine to Keep.
And though the Frost will seep,
Into marrow and bones, oh so deep,
I have promises to keep,
And Aeons to go before I sleep.
I will not leave my flock of sheep,
Though I am wary and feel too deep,
I travel the Hard road,
For it is Mine to Keep,
And for Eons More,
I shall not know sleep.
