The World is at my Fingertips
But
Inspiration is what I Lack
It seems my Mind has been Eclipsed
And
Its Rays of Light gone Black
One day perhaps I’ll find the Sun
With
Energy Renewed
Inspiration will be Abundant
And
My Insanities Pursued
The World is at my Fingertips
But
Inspiration is what I Lack
It seems my Mind has been Eclipsed
And
Its Rays of Light gone Black
One day perhaps I’ll find the Sun
With
Energy Renewed
Inspiration will be Abundant
And
My Insanities Pursued
To the Fanciful and the Fitful
To the Enduring and the Kind
To those who keep their Wits about
And to those who Speak their Mind
To the Timid and the Shy
To the Weak and the Vain
To those Living Lives of Horror
To those Living for the Gain
I Hope your Day is Wonderful
I Hope your Life is Grand
I Hope Your Life is Cherished
Before We Turn to Sand
For One Day We’ll be Gone
And our Legacies Forgot
One Day we will Realize
It Will Be as if We Were Not
So Let us Enjoy Each Moment
For they do not Linger Long
Let us Enjoy Each Memory
Before Our Minds are Gone
Rise
Rise
Rise Above Their Wrongs
Rise
Rise
Rise Above Their Songs
Then
Sink
Sink
Sink Into The Silence
Sink
Sink
Sink Into The Violence
And
Leave
Leave
Leave Them All Behind
Leave
Leave
Leave Their Wretched Minds
They Desecrate the Dead
With their Unholy claims
Shouting, “Long Live Us Instead!”
As they Burn it All in Flames
But their Conflagration
Won’t Destroy our Lands
As our Ancestral Spirit Awakens
They’ll be Pulverized to Sand
May this be a Warning
To All whom Trespass Here
We will Take your tears of Mourning
And Toast your New-found Fear
There’s a Darkness in your soul,
Under that Sweet disguise,
But I can see It pouring out,
Bleeding from your Eyes.
Your Ignorance matched by Arrogance,
A Despondent circumstance…
Did something design your Darkness?
Or was it happenstance?
Well, here, my dear, take this towel,
And wipe those Bloody eyes;
You’ll find that you’ll see clearer,
(But not through my disguise).
For if you think you’re touched by Darkness,
Take a closer gander…
Peer into these eyes of mine,
Reminiscent of Lysander.
In these orbs you’ll see The Darkness
Which envelops me,
And all will hear your Screaming Soul
Drowning in the Adriatic Sea.
I thought I was good
I thought I behaved
The way that one should
But now I see
That my mind was constrained
And the words from my mouth
Poorly formed and restrained
But now I vow
Under the Sacred Wood
That never again will I live
By “would”s or by “should”s
The only way out
Of this forest of lies
Is to die with your sanity
And give up all you prize
In the midst of the night,
Under a star-less light,
I felt my heart beating, as I crouched hidden, out of sight.
But as the starless light shone down,
I saw them leering with their frowns,
So I wiped them off, nice and good without a sound.
For I don’t listen when I’m told,
And when I’m bidden I get bold,
No strings will hang from me, and my actions can’t be sold.
So I called forth my Dark Light,
And on them it shone bright,
Baring their treachery and all of its unholy might.
And the Dark Light cleanses them,
Into new and better men,
A never ending cycle, that spins, and spins again.
beguiling and wily
intending to deceive
you’ll slit my throat and come for me
as quiet as a thief
but your ill intent declares itself,
as a storm upon the rocks
its waves have stirred my madness
unbidden from chains and locks
i suggest you seek out shelter
in some lone forgotten place
for if my madness finds you
you’ll need a brand new face
for it will sneak unbidden
like a thief upon the night
and you will die while screaming
open eyes glazed in fright
